The FLINTA* Jazz Jam Session is a wonderful addition to our FEM* JAM Session.
Our aim is to further encourage, inspire and connect musicians through their music.
The session is set to take place every two months right here at the f*mz, featuring jazz and groove.
For anyone who needs a little extra support to get started, Doro Offermann will be running a mini-workshop in each of the months in between. On the evenings of the sessions, there’ll be a short warm-up an hour before the session begins.
The first two events:
Workshop: 21 June 2026 from 5 pm at the f*mz (please register in advance)
Jam session: 12 July 2026 from 7 pm at the f*mz (please register in advance)
Warm-up for 12 July 2026 from 6 pm

There will be a rhythm section/opener band, which will also step in if individual roles aren’t filled by participants during the session or workshop. Otherwise, vacant roles will be filled using backing tracks.
The workshops and the session stage are open to all FLINTA people, not just f*mz members.
All genders are welcome in the audience for the sessions.
Please be sure to spread the word – the more people take part, the better it’ll be. It’s all about networking, making music together and breathing even more life into the f*mz concept.
