Katja Nitsche is a Hamburg-based photographer, filmmaker and web designer. She worked for several years as a lecturer in design, visual storytelling and photography at the SAE Institute in the Medienbunker in Hamburg. A few years ago, she expanded her creative portfolio with short film clips. She now works as a film team with Silvia Torneden under the name “yeah-film”. Together they realize music videos for Finna, Lila Sovia and Schrottgrenze, among others.
As a lecturer at the Frauenmusikzentrum, she gives workshops on music videos (“How to create your first music video with simple means”) and photography (“Band photos – idea and realization”). She also gives weekend workshops on image editing and film editing programs.
