Afra Bobo is a singer, backing vocalist (Zoe Wees, XATAR), vocal coach, choir director, music lover, Buddhist, coffee addict.
Born in 1983 in Stade and raised in beautiful Oldenburg in Oldenburg, I am a true northern light with Nigerian roots.
Everything I do is about combining intersectional feminism with good entertainment, genuine joie de vivre and authenticity, spreading joy and love and generating real emotions.
My first job was as a nursery school teacher, but at the age of 29 I turned to music and studied singing at the Hamburg School of Music. I have been teaching singing for nine years in my own studio in the Schanze and at various institutes in Hamburg. Here I work with amateurs and professionals on their way to success or singers who simply pursue music as a hobby.
I also design various workshops on the subject of voice, singing and choir for various institutions in Hamburg and throughout Germany, such as music schools, clubs or sometimes for an advertising agency or a music label, which I realize myself, alone or with the involvement of colleagues.
