Throughout the workshop, Tista teaches the basics of songwriting, collaboration within a band, and creative arranging. Openness, active listening, and collaborative experimentation are at the forefront of the experience.<\/p>\n<p>Musically, Tista has a diverse range of styles. She is particularly influenced by Bongo Flava, a musical style from Tanzania that combines Afrobeat elements with traditional musical influences. She brings this perspective to her workshops, along with her enthusiasm for music and the performing arts.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop is open to anyone who enjoys making music together\u2014regardless of prior experience or musical background.<\/p>\n<p>Following the event, an open-stage event will take place at f*mz starting at 6 p.m. All genders welcome!<\/p>\n<p>Tista (she\/her) is from Tanzania and is a musician, songwriter, singer, and bassist.
