DESCRIPTION:This workshop is for anyone interested in screaming\, growling\, and being loud.\nWhether you’re simply curious about your screaming voice\,\nwant to use screaming in a musical context\,\nor want to learn about screaming as a way to\naccess your emotions\, process things\, and let go\,\nScream Your Heart Out is the right place for you.\nWe will:\n– Do warm-up exercises\n– Connect with our bodies and personal resources\n– Learn ways in which our bodies can support our voices\n– Try out different screaming/growling techniques \n– Look at which parts of the body are involved in screaming and\nhow they create “distortion”\n– Experience what it feels like to scream in a group\n– Do cool-down exercises \nYou don’t need any prior knowledge\, a particularly loud voice\, or any other special skills for the workshop. At no point will you have to sing or scream alone in front of others.
