DESCRIPTION:This workshop is for anyone interested in screaming\, growling\, and being loud.\nWhether you’re simply curious about your screaming voice\,\nwant to use screaming in a musical context\,\nor want to learn about screaming as a way to\naccess your emotions\, process things\, and let go\,\nScream Your Heart Out is the right place for you.\nWe will:\n– Do warm-up exercises\n– Connect with our bodies and personal resources\n– Learn ways in which our bodies can support our voices\n– Try out different screaming/growling techniques \n– Look at which parts of the body are involved in screaming and\nhow they create “distortion”\n– Experience what it feels like to scream in a group\n– Do cool-down exercises \nYou don’t need any prior knowledge\, a particularly loud voice\, or any other special skills for the workshop. At no point will you have to sing or scream alone in front of others. SUMMARY:Workshop for the FLINTA* Jazz Jamsession at f*mz
DESCRIPTION:The FLINTA* Jazz Jam Session is a wonderful addition to our FEM* JAM Session.\nOur aim is to further encourage\, inspire and connect musicians through their music.\nThe session is set to take place every two months right here at the f*mz\, featuring jazz and groove.\nFor anyone who needs a little extra support to get started\, Doro Offermann will be running a mini-workshop in each of the months in between. On the evenings of the sessions\, there’ll be a short warm-up an hour before the session begins. \nThe dates are:\nWorkshop: 11.10.2026 / 13.12.2026 ab 17 Uhr im f*mz (bitte verbindlich anmelden)\nJam-Session: 15.11.2026 ab 19 Uhr im f*mz (bitte verbindlich anmelden)  \nWarm up ab 18 Uhr \nPlease register at: flinta.jazz.fmz@gmx.de \nThere will be a rhythm section/opener band\, which will also step in if individual roles aren’t filled by participants during the session or workshop. Otherwise\, vacant roles will be filled using backing tracks. \nThe workshops and the session stage are open to all FLINTA people\, not just f*mz members.\nAll genders are welcome in the audience for the sessions. \nPlease be sure to spread the word – the more people take part\, the better it’ll be. It’s all about networking\, making music together and breathing even more life into the f*mz concept.
