DESCRIPTION:On October 18\, 2025\, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.\, we will be hosting a workshop at Operation Ton on the topic of “Gender-equitable booking in music – More diversity. Less patriarchy.” \nWhat do feminist booking\, BIPoC perspectives\, and gender diversity mean for you as an artist\, label\, or booker? This talk shows how gender equality\, diversity\, and diverse lineups open doors and change markets. With input from Tutku Kaplan\, Silvie Torneden\, and Peta Devlin\, all three of whom are awesome F*MZ creators\, you’ll learn how visibility\, fairness\, and networks strengthen the live music scene in the long term—and why diversity is a prerequisite for future-oriented cultural work.
