Artist, tattoo artist and creative lecturer with an international background

Hanadi

Hanadi

Raised in Damascus, her path took her via the USA to Hamburg, where she now lives and works. Her experiences between different cultures shape her artistic practice as well as her attitude: open, curious and constantly on the move.

In the United States, she studied fine art with a focus on illustration and worked in various cities in the fields of design and visual arts. After moving to Hamburg, she worked in the creative industry for several years and received various awards for her work before returning to freelance artistic practice.

For over 18 years, Hanadi has been working independently on a wide range of projects — from tattoo art and mural painting to collaborative art and community formats and the organisation of cultural events. Her approach combines technical precision with a love of artistic experimentation and a strong interest in collective learning.

As a lecturer, she brings not only extensive artistic experience to the table, but also a great openness to different perspectives and realities of life. In addition to her work, she is the mother of a daughter who inspires her every day.
