Learn the differences and functions of various DJ software such as Serato, Traktor, Recordbox and more. Import tracks, create playlists effortlessly and link everything smoothly to your DJ software. Learn the differences between various DJ equipment, mixing consoles, turntables, controllers and high-quality headphones. Find out which equipment is best suited for different types of gigs and which is suitable for you to get started in the art of DJing. Gain beatmatching skills by perfectly matching speed and rhythm for seamless transitions between songs. Learn how to determine BPM, synchronize songs perfectly, crossfade transitions, cut-ins and cut-outs to smoothly merge songs and seamlessly connect the music. Discover a variety of mixing techniques such as EQing, filtering and panning to refine and enhance the sound of your songs. The workshop is interactive, so be ready to actively apply what you’ve learned with hands-on exercises! At the end you will receive a script + short tutorial videos with the most important points about DJ sets, transitions and equipment so that you can pick up where you left off at home!
