The holiday workshop “Grrrlz Hip & Rap with LILA SOVIA” is aimed at girls aged 10–18 who want to write their own lyrics, try out beats, and raise their voices on stage. Together with non-binary rap artist LILA SOVIA, participants will discover the basics of hip-hop and rap—from writing their first lines to flow exercises to recording and performance. The focus is on creatively exploring topics from their everyday lives: friendship, identity, school, family, or their neighborhood. It’s not about perfection, but about developing the courage to tell their own stories out loud and gaining confidence in their own voices. At the end of the workshop week, the girls* present their results in an open session and receive recognition for their work.

In the summer vacation workshop “Grrrlz Seeing Sounds – Creating a Digital Booklet with Hanadi,” girls aged 10–18 develop their first visual ideas for their music. Together with artist Hanadi, they translate moods, lyrics, and beats into images, collages, and layouts. This results in cover designs, portraits, and booklet pages that form the basis for a joint digital publication. The workshop offers a safe space where participants can unleash their creativity and acquire design skills.

Create beats & explore design – Fall break workshop with HANADI:

The fall break workshop “Creating Beats & Deepening Design – with Hanadi” ties in directly with the music workshops with FINNA. The girls* bring the songs, lyrics, and ideas they developed during the year-long course and work with Hanadi to translate them into an overall visual concept. This results in covers, booklet pages, and layouts that complement the musical results and are brought together in a professional digital publication.
