Katha Lattke is a drummer, singer, composer and educator.
As a live and studio musician she works with artists such as Finna, Ronja Lou, Karl die Große, Die Braut haut ins Auge, Moritz Simon Geist, Paula Paula, Portrait XO, Mona M, monkey & goat, Zazuka, Freya Arde, Maxi Menot and many more.
In addition to engagements as a theater musician and composer, e.g. at the Theater der Jungen Welt Leipzig, the Theater Waidspeicher Erfurt or the Semperoper Dresden, she received the #TakeHeart scholarship from the Fonds Darstellende
Künste in 2022 for her artistic work.
Born in Pirna in 1987 as the youngest daughter of a very musical family, Katha began taking violin lessons at the age of 6 and switched to the drumset at 15. After graduating from high school, she studied jazz/rock/pop drums at the University of Music
Carl Maria von Weber Dresden and folk/improvised music at the Norges Musikkhøgskole
